Camping

Pack your flannel shirts and hotdog skewers cause we're goin' camping!

Upon the completion of the wedding ceremony, 4:00 or 5:00ish, the celebration will continue in the Camp Ground. Just a short drive (or moderate hike) around the perimeter of the park and you'll arrive in the area we've reserved for our revelry.

The entire Group Camp Ground is at our disposal, so feel free to plop your tent, hammock, or bivouac anywhere that strikes your fancy. Keep in mind that we'll be using a couple of the designated fire pits so you may want to place your sleeping arrangements a decent distance from the merrymaking.

Always with conservation in mind, we've made arrangements with the caterers to pack up whatever leftovers remain from the ceremony so that they can be enjoyed again later that evening over the open fires. However, as we are unable to predict exactly how much food will be leftover, you may want to subsidize our offerings with your favorite camp fire vitals. There are several grocery stores to visit in Dansville-proper for the food stuffs, and since the Bridal Parties won't be arriving immediately in the Camp Ground there is plenty of time zip into town.

What we will be providing, and most importantly some might argue, is the libations. The illustrious and prolific Kerlin Brothers have brewed a mighty beer specifically for the camping festivities (as well as the three for the reception), and the generous and gracious John and Chris Lalande have transported a wonderful smattering of New Glarus bottled beer for our enjoyment. In addition, there should be healthy doses of wine remaining from the ceremony and a few liquors from the rehearsal dinner.
